You can colour and shape a code to match your brand, as long as it stays easy for a camera to read.

  1. Open the design studio from a code's Design tab, or open Design studio.
  2. Open the Colours group and set the Dot colour and the Background. You can use a gradient.
  3. Open the dot and eye settings to change the Dot shape, the Eye frame and the Eye centre.
  4. Keep the print check green. Dark dots on a light background read best.
  5. Press Save design, or Download for a fixed code.

Good to know

  • Aim for strong contrast. Light dots on a dark background fail on some older scanners.
  • If the check shows This code may not scan, use a darker dot colour, a lighter background or square dots.
