Guests RSVP to your event in one scan
Invitations go out once. Replies, directions and the calendar entry sit behind one code, right up to the day.
For an event RSVP QR code, print one editable code on the invitation that opens a hosted event page with the date, the place, an add-to-calendar button and a short RSVP form. Replies arrive in your account and export as a list. One pass covers it with one payment, from $12 for 3 months.
Reply, route and reminder in one scan
Guests scan the invitation, tap their answer and add the day to their calendar.

How to collect RSVPs with a code
Pick a pass that covers the date
Choose the shortest pass that runs past the event plus a few weeks for late photos and thank-you notes. Passes never renew.
Build the event page
In the app, start an event page with the date, the address, a map link and the RSVP form. Add the questions you need, such as meal choice.
Print the code on the invitation
Download the code as a vector file for the invitation printer and add a line like "Reply by 1 May: scan here" under it.
Read and export replies
Replies appear in the app as they come in. Export the list when the caterer or the seating plan needs it.
Worked example: a summer wedding
- Invitations in March
- A couple sends 80 invitations in March for a wedding in July, each with the RSVP code and a reply-by date in June.
- A six-month pass
- They buy the Event pass at $12 for 3 months, which covers the wedding and the weeks after it, and never renews by itself.
- When plans change
- In May the venue moves the start time. The couple edits the event page once, and every invitation already in a drawer shows the new time on the next scan.
Fixed or editable for an event?
-
Fixed QR code (static)
A fixed calendar code, made right here, adds the date, time and place to the guest's calendar without any account. It is free, but it cannot take replies, and a changed time means new invitations.
-
Editable QR code (dynamic) Our pick for this job
RSVPs need an editable code with a hosted event page, because the form has to live somewhere. A pass is made for one-off dates: pay once, and the code works until the pass ends.
Invitation tips
Put the reply date next to the code
"Reply by 1 June" beside the code gets answers sooner than a date tucked away on the page.
Keep the essentials in print
Some guests will not scan. Print the venue and the date in text as well, so the code adds to the invitation rather than replacing it.
Test on the printed proof
Glossy card, gold foil and pastel inks can hide a code. Scan the printer's proof before the full run.
Questions and answers
Before you print
- Is it free?
- Fixed codes are free: make as many as you like, download a PNG with no sign-up, and get every other format and print files with a free account. Editable codes come with a plan, a pass, Keep-alive or the 14-day trial.
- Can I change the link after printing?
- Yes, with an editable code. It holds a short link you control, so you can point the printed code somewhere new any time, and the next scan opens the new page. A fixed code keeps the link it was made with.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes. A custom domain is included on passes, from Starter, and during the trial. Starter covers one subdomain, for example go.yourbrand.com, and apex domains start on Pro.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- Editable codes work to the end of your paid period, and after a failed payment every code keeps working for 14 days. Turn codes back on within 12 months. Fixed codes keep working as long as their links do.
Do guests need an app or an account to RSVP?
Neither. The camera opens the event page in the browser, and the form asks only for a name and the answers you set up.
How long does an RSVP code keep working?
Until the pass or plan ends. Choose a pass that covers the event and some weeks after it. A pass never renews by itself.
Can I change the event details after the invitations are sent?
Yes. Edit the event page in the app and the change shows on the next scan. The printed code stays exactly the same.
Where do the replies go?
Into your account, where you see each reply with its answers. Export the list as a CSV file for the caterer, the venue or your seating plan.
Can guests share photos through the same code?
Keep photos on a second code that opens a shared album from Google Photos or iCloud. Put the RSVP code on the invitation and the photo code on the tables, so each has one clear job.
Send invitations that answer back
Make the calendar code here, then add an event page with an RSVP form in the app on a one-time pass.
