Country code first, then the number, digits only: 15550100123 for a US number, 4930123456 for Berlin.
Add an opening message
Add ?text= and a short line such as I'd like to order. It tells you where the scan came from and saves the customer typing.

- What happens if I stop paying?
- Editable codes work to the end of your paid period, and after a failed payment every code keeps working for 14 days. Turn codes back on within 12 months. Fixed codes keep working as long as their links do.
How do I make a WhatsApp link for a QR code?
Write wa.me/ followed by your full number with the country code, digits only. Add ?text= and a message if you want the chat to start with words already typed.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. The wa.me address opens whichever account uses that number, business or personal.
Do customers need to save my number?
No. The scan opens the chat directly. They can save you afterwards if they want.
What if my number changes?
A fixed code keeps dialling the old number. With an editable code you point it at the new chat address without reprinting.
Can I tell which flyer a chat came from?
Use a different opening message per flyer, such as Hi from the market stall. Editable codes also count scans per code.
