Create a Wi-Fi QR code

Make a QR code that connects phones to your Wi-Fi when they scan it, with the network name, password and security type.

A Wi-Fi code lets guests join your network by scanning, with no password to type. Most modern phones join straight from the camera.

Open the QR code generator.
Under Type of code, choose Wi-Fi.
Fill in the Network name (SSID) and the Password.
Set the Security, usually WPA or WPA2. Tick The network is hidden only if it is.
Press Create QR code and download it under File format.

Good to know

A Wi-Fi code carries the password in the image, so share it only where you are happy for guests to see it.
To change the password later without reprinting, use an editable code that opens a web page with the details.
