A fixed code stores its content in the image itself. It is free, needs no account and keeps working without any plan, but you cannot change it after printing.

  1. Open the QR code generator.
  2. Under Type of code, pick a type, for example URL or Wi-Fi. More shows the other types.
  3. Fill in the content. Under Fixed or editable?, choose Fixed QR code (static).
  4. Change the design if you like: Code colour, Background, Dot style, Corner frame, Frame and a Caption. Add a logo takes a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG file.
  5. Press Create QR code and wait for the print check next to the preview.
  6. Under File format, pick SVG for any size, PNG for screens and documents, or PDF and EPS for print shops. For PNG, choose a PNG size.
  7. Press Download fixed code.

Good to know

  • A PDF code always points to a file we host, so it is always an editable code.
  • SVG and PNG files are made in your browser. PDF and EPS files are made on our server and have a fair-use limit per visitor.
  • To print large or close to the scan distance limit, read Print a QR code that scans.
