Authenticator app
- Under Authenticator app, choose Set up an authenticator app.
- Scan the code with an app such as a password manager or an authenticator app, and enter the 6-digit code from the app.
- Press Turn on.
From then on, signing in asks for a code from the app. We ask you to confirm it is you before you change these settings.
Recovery codes
Create recovery codes gives you one-time codes for when your phone is lost. Keep them somewhere safe. Create new recovery codes replaces the old set, which stops working.
Passkeys
Where passkeys are available, Add a passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN instead of a password.
Where you are signed in
Where you are signed in lists your sessions with device and country. Sign out ends one; Sign out everywhere else ends all but this one.
For a whole workspace
On Business and above, an owner can choose Require two-step verification. Members without it are asked to set it up before they can open the workspace.
