An editable code holds a short link. Scanners go through that link to your destination, so you can change the destination at any time, even after printing.
- Sign in or create an account. On the generator, choosing Editable QR code (dynamic) and pressing Continue to create an editable code takes you to the sign-up page.
- Open Create a code in the app.
- Pick the type. Editable codes point to a web address: choose URL, Google review or Instagram.
- Choose editable under Fixed or editable, enter the destination and, under Name and folder, a name you will recognise later.
- Press Save code. The editor opens with the code and its short link.
- Download the image from the editor. During the trial the button says Download trial code and shows the date the trial ends.
The trial
Saving your first editable code starts a 14-day trial with 25 editable codes and no card. Before the trial ends, choose a plan, a pass or Keep-alive and the codes keep the same link. See Use the free trial.
Safety check
Every new destination is checked before it goes live. If the check is still running, scanners see a short "Checking this link" page until it finishes.
