Editable codes depend on a trial, a plan, a pass or Keep-alive. Fixed codes never do.
Before anything stops
Before a trial, pass or plan ends, you get e-mail and in-app warnings 7, 3 and 1 days ahead.
When a payment fails
All codes keep working for 14 days while you update the payment method. The app home shows Payment problem with a link to fix it, and we send reminders during that time. If the payment still fails, the account is suspended and editable codes stop redirecting.
When you cancel
The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. After that, editable codes stop redirecting.
What scanners see
A short neutral page: "This QR code isn't active right now." It never mentions plans or payment. It has a Let the owner know button, and I'm the owner for you.
How to keep codes running for less
- Keep-alive keeps 15 editable codes redirecting for $3 a month.
- A pass covers 1 to 5 codes for a fixed time and never renews.
Coming back
Reactivate within 12 months of a paid plan ending, or 90 days after a trial, with no fee. The codes keep the same link. After that window the account is deleted, with e-mail warnings 30 and 7 days before. Your export stays available for 12 months after paying stops.
