LinkedIn QR code for profiles and company pages
Paste your profile or company page address. A scan opens it on the phone with the connect or follow button ready.
A LinkedIn QR code opens your LinkedIn profile or company page on the phone that scans it. Paste your public profile address, such as linkedin.com/in/yourname, or your company page address into the generator below. People with the app land on your profile, one tap from Connect or Follow, so a chat at a conference becomes a contact.
Meet once, stay connected
Your badge or card carries the code. One scan and your profile opens with Connect ready.
Templates for this code
-
Connect badge
Navy with Connect on LinkedIn, for conference badges and lanyards.
-
Hiring poster
A boxed code that opens the company page or job list, for careers fairs.
-
Slide corner
Plain rounded modules for the corner of a speaker's last slide.
How to make a LinkedIn QR code
Set a clean public address
In your profile settings you can choose a custom public URL. linkedin.com/in/samrivera makes a smaller code than a string of numbers.
Paste it and pick the frame
A caption like Connect on LinkedIn tells people what happens and fits a badge or a slide corner.
Check what strangers see
Open the link in a private browser window. Your public profile settings decide how much people see before they connect.
Print it where conversations happen
Badges, the last slide of a talk, the back of a business card or a stand banner.
Fixed or editable for LinkedIn?
-
Fixed QR code (static)
A public profile address stays the same unless you change it, so a fixed code is the free choice for most people.
-
Editable QR code (dynamic)
Recruiters and teams often point one printed code at a job list that changes every week. An editable code keeps the print and swaps the destination, and counts the scans per event. From $9 a month or a pass from $12.
Where LinkedIn codes work
Conference badges
A code on the badge saves spelling your name for every new contact in a busy hall.
Talks and webinars
The last slide shows the code for the few seconds when people are most interested.
Careers fairs
A stand poster opens the company page or the open roles, so students follow up after the fair.
Business cards
Next to a contact code, or instead of it, when your profile matters more than your phone number.
Print tips for LinkedIn codes
Badge size
On a badge read at arm's length, about 3 cm keeps the code quick to scan in crowded halls.
On slides
Make the code at least a fifth of the slide height and leave it up for ten seconds; people need time to lift their phones.
Colours
A dark blue code on white matches the platform and keeps the contrast high.
Questions and answers
Before you print
- Is it free?
- Fixed codes are free: make as many as you like, download a PNG with no sign-up, and get every other format and print files with a free account. Editable codes come with a plan, a pass, Keep-alive or the 14-day trial.
- Can I change the link after printing?
- Yes, with an editable code. It holds a short link you control, so you can point the printed code somewhere new any time, and the next scan opens the new page. A fixed code keeps the link it was made with.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes. A custom domain is included on passes, from Starter, and during the trial. Starter covers one subdomain, for example go.yourbrand.com, and apex domains start on Pro.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- Editable codes work to the end of your paid period, and after a failed payment every code keeps working for 14 days. Turn codes back on within 12 months. Fixed codes keep working as long as their links do.
Does LinkedIn have its own QR code?
The app can show a profile code in LinkedIn's design. A code from the generator above opens the same profile and can carry your colours, frame and caption for print.
Can the code open a company page?
Yes. Paste the company page address instead of a personal profile. It suits stands, careers fairs and office reception.
Do people need the LinkedIn app?
No. Without the app the profile opens in the browser, and LinkedIn may ask the visitor to sign in to connect.
What happens if I change my custom URL?
A fixed code keeps the old address, which stops working after the change. Choose your URL before printing, or use an editable code.
Can one code link my profile and my contact details?
A code holds one destination. Use a contact code for your details and add your LinkedIn address as the website field, or use a hosted contact card.
Is a LinkedIn QR code free?
Yes. A fixed code to your profile is free to make and print, comes in SVG, PNG, JPG, WebP, PDF and EPS and carries no watermark.
Turn a chat into a connection
Paste your profile or company page and download a code for your badge or slides.
