An ME-QR alternative for scans that open your page first

The people who scan your code land on your page straight away, on every plan.

ME-QR is free to start, and its codes keep working after you unsubscribe, with ads on the free plan. oqrely fits when the scan is part of your brand: every redirect goes straight to your page, fixed codes are free without an account, and editable codes cost $9 a month on Starter for 50 codes.

What each one does well

ME-QR gives dynamic codes away and keeps them running when you stop paying; on free codes, scanners see an ad before your page. Its Lite plan removes ads from 1 code in total and Premium from all of them. oqrely sends every scan straight to your destination, the trial included.

What ME-QR does better

Its free plan includes dynamic codes and scan analytics that do not run out. For a school club or a one-person side project with no budget, a free dynamic code is worth a lot, ads and all. oqrely has no free editable codes: the lowest-cost way to keep 1 is a pass from $12 for 3 months, or Keep-alive at $3 a month for codes you already have.

How to move from ME-QR

ME-QR codes run through ME-QR's link, and they keep working after you unsubscribe, with ads. That gives you time: there is no hard deadline for the move.

  1. Note what is printed

List each ME-QR code that is printed, where it is and its destination. We did not verify an export feature at ME-QR, so plan to copy them by hand.

  2. Make the replacements in oqrely

Create an editable code for each destination, or use Bulk create with a CSV to make many in one go, and design them to match your print templates.

  3. Decide about the old codes

Codes left on ME-QR keep working after you unsubscribe but show ads without Premium. Keep Premium until the reprints are done if ads would hurt, or accept them in low-traffic spots.

  4. Codes on your own domain

If any ME-QR codes use your own domain, connect that domain in oqrely and recreate each link ending there once it shows Connected. Until an ending is recreated, it does not resolve.

  5. Reprint, busiest places first

Swap codes as materials run out, starting with the places where the most people scan.
