If a code does not scan, the cause is almost always the print, not the code. Work through these in order.
- Test it in our QR code scanner to confirm the image itself reads.
- Open the code's Design tab and watch the print check. If it shows This code may not scan, apply the suggested fix.
- Raise the contrast: dark dots on a light background read best.
- Print it larger and keep the clear space (quiet zone) around it.
- Make the logo smaller, or choose square dots and a higher error correction level.
Good to know
- A screen with low brightness or a scratched print can stop a scan. Try a clean copy on paper.
