Flipbook QR code for catalogues and magazines
Your pages turn like a printed book on any phone, with the PDF one tap away.
A flipbook QR code opens your catalogue, magazine or e-book as a book on the phone: a cover, then pages that turn with Next page, two side by side on a tablet. The PDF stays one tap away. Build it in the app from the Flipbook template, add one picture per page and print the code.
Spring catalogue, scan to browse
A shopper scans the poster and turns the pages of the new catalogue on the spot.

Fixed or editable for a flipbook?
-
Fixed QR code (static)
A fixed code to a viewer on your own site works when that address never changes.
-
Editable QR code (dynamic)
We recommend editable: the book lives with us, you replace the pages each season and every printed code opens the new edition. Try it 14 days free, then plans from $9 a month.

What the flipbook does
- Page turns without an app
- Next page and Previous page work in any browser, also with the keyboard.
- Two-page spreads
- On a wide screen the pages sit side by side like an open book.
- Download
- The PDF button gives readers the whole file to keep or print.
- Fast on mobile
- Pages load as pictures, one spread at a time, so a long catalogue opens quickly on a phone connection.
Questions and answers
Before you print
- Is it free?
- Fixed codes are free: make as many as you like, download a PNG with no sign-up, and get every other format and print files with a free account. Editable codes come with a plan, a pass, Keep-alive or the 14-day trial.
- Can I change the link after printing?
- Yes, with an editable code. It holds a short link you control, so you can point the printed code somewhere new any time, and the next scan opens the new page. A fixed code keeps the link it was made with.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes. A custom domain is included on passes, from Starter, and during the trial. Starter covers one subdomain, for example go.yourbrand.com, and apex domains start on Pro.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- Editable codes work to the end of your paid period, and after a failed payment every code keeps working for 14 days. Turn codes back on within 12 months. Fixed codes keep working as long as their links do.
How does a flipbook QR code work?
The scan opens a page with your book. Readers tap Next page to turn and the counter shows where they are.
Do readers need an app?
No. The book opens in the phone's browser.
Can I update the catalogue later?
With an editable code, yes. Replace the pages and the PDF in the app and the printed code opens the new edition.
Can readers still get the PDF?
Yes. The download button below the book gives them the full file.
How many pages can a flipbook have?
Up to 400 pages, one picture per page.
Does it work on a tablet?
Yes. Wide screens show two pages side by side.
Which files make a good flipbook?
Any document with pages: export each page as a picture from your layout tool and keep the PDF for the download button.
Can I see how many people opened it?
Yes. Scans of an editable code are counted by day, place and device in the app.
