Event QR code templates
Flyers, badges and posters that sell the ticket, share the agenda or save the date in one scan.
An event code has one job before the day and another on the day. On the flyer it sells the ticket or saves the date in the calendar; on the badge or the poster it opens the agenda, the map or the speaker list. These designs use ticket, lanyard and burst frames, bold and sharp type and a confetti, microphone or trophy icon in the code. Party designs print as A5 flyers, conference badges at A6 and sports posters at A4. Fill in your event above and try a design with Use this design.

How to use a code for your event
-
Save the date first
A calendar code adds the event to the phone with the time and place, so people do not forget it.
-
Sell or share on the day
On badges and posters, link to the agenda, the map or the ticket shop instead.
-
Use an event pass
An editable code for a single event can run on a pass that covers the date, with one payment.
-
Print the short link too
Under the code, the short link helps anyone who prefers to type it into a browser.
Event print specs
- Flyer
- A5, with the code at least 3 cm wide and the date in large type next to it.
- Badge
- A6 or a lanyard card, with a code of 2.5 cm that a neighbour can scan for your contact.
- Poster
- A4 or A3 at the entrance, with the code at least 8 cm wide at eye level.
- Ticket
- On a printed ticket a 2.5 cm code is enough for the door scan, placed away from the fold and the tear line.
Questions
Before you print
- Is it free?
- Fixed codes are free: make as many as you like, download a PNG with no sign-up, and get every other format and print files with a free account. Editable codes come with a plan, a pass, Keep-alive or the 14-day trial.
- Can I change the link after printing?
- Yes, with an editable code. It holds a short link you control, so you can point the printed code somewhere new any time, and the next scan opens the new page. A fixed code keeps the link it was made with.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes. A custom domain is included on passes, from Starter, and during the trial. Starter covers one subdomain, for example go.yourbrand.com, and apex domains start on Pro.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- Editable codes work to the end of your paid period, and after a failed payment every code keeps working for 14 days. Turn codes back on within 12 months. Fixed codes keep working as long as their links do.
What should an event QR code open?
Before the day, the ticket page or a calendar entry. On the day, the agenda, the map or the photo album.
Can a code add the event to a calendar?
Yes. The calendar type holds the title, date, time and place, and the phone offers to save it.
Which design fits a conference?
The conference designs use lanyard and badge frames with navy and ink colours and lines like Scan for the agenda.
Can I change the link after printing?
Yes, with an editable code. Switch from the ticket page to the photo album once the event is over.
Will the code work on a dark venue poster?
Keep the code on a light panel inside the poster. Every template puts dark ink on a light background for that reason.
