Digital product passport QR code for your products
Materials, footprint, repair and recycling for every product, one scan from the label.
A digital product passport QR code on the label opens a page with the product identity, materials, carbon footprint, repair and recycling, plus documents such as the declaration of conformity. The template follows the sections of the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), so you are ready when the rules for your product group apply.
What is this kettle made of?

Start from the template
Product identity, materials, footprint, repair and recycling are already sections.
Fill in your data
Add the GTIN, the material shares and the spare-part links.
Attach the documents
Upload the declaration of conformity and the safety data as PDFs.
Print the code on the label
Use the SVG file for rating plates and packaging.
Fixed or editable for a product passport?
-
Fixed QR code (static)
A fixed code to your own site works, but its address must stay the same for the life of the product.
-
Editable QR code (dynamic)
We recommend editable: the page lives with us, you change the passport data any time and the printed code stays the same. Try it 14 days free, then plans from $9 a month.

Questions and answers
Before you print
- Is it free?
- Fixed codes are free: make as many as you like, download a PNG with no sign-up, and get every other format and print files with a free account. Editable codes come with a plan, a pass, Keep-alive or the 14-day trial.
- Can I change the link after printing?
- Yes, with an editable code. It holds a short link you control, so you can point the printed code somewhere new any time, and the next scan opens the new page. A fixed code keeps the link it was made with.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes. A custom domain is included on passes, from Starter, and during the trial. Starter covers one subdomain, for example go.yourbrand.com, and apex domains start on Pro.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- Editable codes work to the end of your paid period, and after a failed payment every code keeps working for 14 days. Turn codes back on within 12 months. Fixed codes keep working as long as their links do.
What is a digital product passport?
A digital record of a product: what it is made of, its footprint, how to repair it and how to recycle it, reached through a code on the product.
Is my product required to have one?
The EU rules apply product group by product group over the coming years. Batteries and textiles come first. Check the delegated act for your group.
Which fields does the template have?
Product identity, materials, carbon footprint, repair, recycling and a compliance document, following the ESPR sections.
Can I update the passport later?
Yes, with an editable code. Change the page and the printed label stays the same.
Can I add a GTIN or batch?
Yes. Write it in the identity section, or use a GS1 Digital Link code that carries it.
Can I add documents?
Yes. Upload PDFs such as the declaration of conformity; they open in the viewer on the phone.
Who reads a product passport?
Shoppers comparing materials, repair shops looking for parts, recyclers taking the product apart and market surveillance checking the documents.
Does the code have to be on the product itself?
The rules ask for the data carrier on the product where possible, otherwise on the packaging or the documents. A small engraved or printed code works on most products.
Give every product its passport
Start the passport template in the app and print the code on the label.
