Stickers and labels put a code on things that have no room for a flyer: boxes, bottles, laptops, shop doors. The product label and ribbon shapes carry lines like Scan for how to use it; the round sticker and the speech bubbles suit reviews and guest Wi-Fi. How to make QR code stickers

Pick the shape for the surface
Flat boxes take any shape. On bottles and cups, a narrow ribbon or a small round sticker wraps with less distortion.

Decide fixed or editable
Packaging lives for years. An editable code lets you change the care guide or the reorder page without new labels.

Print one sheet on the label stock you will use and scan a sticker on a curved surface before the full run.
Sticker and label print specs
- Sizes
- Labels at 3 by 3 inches; sticker sheets at 2 inches per sticker. Both work on standard label sheets.
- Code width on curved surfaces
- Keep the code on the flattest part. On a bottle, a code wider than a third of the circumference bends out of view.
- Stock
- Matte paper or vinyl. Clear labels need a white layer behind the code, or it vanishes on dark products.

Before you print
- Is it free?
- Fixed codes are free: make as many as you like, download a PNG with no sign-up, and get every other format and print files with a free account. Editable codes come with a plan, a pass, Keep-alive or the 14-day trial.
- Can I change the link after printing?
- Yes, with an editable code. It holds a short link you control, so you can point the printed code somewhere new any time, and the next scan opens the new page. A fixed code keeps the link it was made with.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes. A custom domain is included on passes, from Starter, and during the trial. Starter covers one subdomain, for example go.yourbrand.com, and apex domains start on Pro.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- Editable codes work to the end of your paid period, and after a failed payment every code keeps working for 14 days. Turn codes back on within 12 months. Fixed codes keep working as long as their links do.
What size should a QR code sticker be?
For something held in the hand, about 2.8 cm for a short link, white margin included, by the size rule our print check uses. Stickers on doors and windows need more, depending on where people stand.
Do QR stickers work on bottles?
Yes, if the code sits on a flat strip. Pick the ribbon shape and keep the code narrow so the curve does not hide its corners.
Can each sticker have its own code?
Yes. Put one link per row in a spreadsheet and the bulk tool makes up to 500 fixed codes per file, without an account.
Which sticker is best for guest Wi-Fi?
The Wi-Fi bubble, with a Wi-Fi code that joins the network in one scan. Fixed Wi-Fi codes are free and never depend on us.
Will the labels survive washing or fridges?
That depends on the label stock, not the code. Use waterproof vinyl for kitchens, bathrooms and cold storage.
